The rubber spring is vulcanized with multiply rubber layers and flat steel plates which are placed alternatively. It has good compressive loading and shear deflecting capacity, can bear the weight of the car-body and the shear deflection between the bogie and car-body. It is widely used as central and side bearers in the locomotives, and for emergency and auxiliary springs in high-speed, metro and LRV trains.
